Adult Occupational Therapy services provide personalized, in-home support to promote recovery, independence, and sustained quality of life. Grounded in evidence-based, occupation-centered practice, care focuses on restoring function after surgery, injury, or illness; addressing mobility, balance, cognition, and endurance; and adapting routines as physical capacities change over time. Services can include comprehensive evaluation, home safety assessment, fall-risk reduction, energy conservation training, cognitive strategy development, and task-specific rehabilitation.

Assistive Techonology

Assistive Technology services involve comprehensive evaluation and implementation of low- and high-technology interventions to optimize functional performance within the home and community. Services may include adaptive equipment prescription, environmental modification, accessibility planning during renovations, and home safety assessment. Recommendations are occupation-centered and individualized to improve independence in activities of daily living, enhance mobility and task efficiency, reduce injury risk, and support sustained function and quality of life within the individual’s natural environment.

Place-Based Aging

Centered on supporting adults to continue living in ways that feel meaningful, capable, and self-directed within their own homes. Care focuses on understanding daily routines, personal priorities, and environmental demands, then identifying practical supports that enhance function and independence as needs evolve over time. Services are collaborative and individualized, offering guidance, resources, and adaptive strategies that promote comfort, confidence, and sustained quality of life while honoring each person’s values and preferences.

We first met Amanda when she supported me in home with my husband who was struggling with Multiple Sclerosis. Amanda would come to the home and provide direct interventions with him such as bathing, eating, dressing and therapy to maintain what strength/skills he had, and would also support me in managing his care and accessing resources for our family. Amanda was compassionate, knowledgable and supportive, and still kept in touch after she moved out of the area, long after he passed on.
