E.F., Pediatric OT Parent
Amanda has been working with our daughter with her regulation and executive functioning skills. She has provided new insights that many other highly trained professionals have overlooked. This new framing has helped us significantly in parenting our daughter. Amanda works on her ability to identify and share her feelings, as well as techniques she can turn to when dysregulated. We have seen our daughter (who is 5) use these strategies independently, and it is huge for her to accept any form of coaching, let alone put it to use.

Amanda has been working with our 9 year old son for the past 2 years. They work on everything from executive functioning and typing, to improving proprioception and self-regulation. Our son has become so self-aware, he has even asked me to help him with some of the regulation techniques they have practiced when he senses he is too escalated or anxious. Amanda always brings a bag of activities carefully selected for what she wants to work on. She is so much fun that our son would never realize he was doing work. He looks forward to the sessions weekly!

Julia, Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy
My 18 month old had craniosacral from Dr. Amanda after an awful night of sleep and six weeks of on and off colds. Dr. Amanda was able to determine that her left lymph was stuck and got it moving again, and in turn, my daughter slept beautifully for the rest of the week and her nose started running instead of being stuffy. I am a therapist and always source very high quality partners to work with; Dr. Amanda is the highest quality OT and Craniosacral therapist out there. She moves with the flow of the kid (mine was playing everywhere, eating lunch, and would rarely stay still at our home appointment).
On another note, Dr Amanda also worked with our nanny who had a migraine for a week. Immediately after the appointment, she was no longer in pain and back to her perky self.

My time with Amanda was nothing short of enlightening. I am usually hesitant to open up and was a bit nervous of what could come up for me. However, Amanda created an environment that instantly made me feel comfortable and cared for. I had an unshakable feeling that my body was ready to welcome anything that could come up. She knew exactly what approach to take the moment she began her work. I came out of the session with more clarity about my body and a feeling like a weight had been lifted. Amanda has a beautiful gift. I would recommend her to the people I care most about.

We first met Amanda when she supported me in home with my husband who was struggling with Multiple Sclerosis. Amanda would come to the home and provide direct interventions with him such as bathing, eating, dressing and therapy to maintain what strength/skills he had, and would also support me in managing his care and accessing resources for our family. Amanda was compassionate, knowledgable and supportive, and still kept in touch after she moved out of the area, long after he passed on.

I was so moved after she saw my daughter for Craniosacral Theapy, that we had Dr. Amanda come back to work on my seven year old nephew. After the appointment, he was calm, kind, helpful, and it was because Dr. Amanda spent time building rapport with him before jumping into the work. My whole family was blown away. Both sessions were over an hour because Dr. Amanda believes in going slowly and following the needs of the child. I have now referred all my friends to her!

As a longtime bodyworker and energy work practitioner I tend to be picky when it comes to getting sessions from other practitioners. Amanda is a skilled and caring practitioner and my session with her was amazing! I was able to deeply relax and receive some restorative healing which I was clearly in need of. I had also been experiencing some pain in my right shoulder from overworking and it was noticeably better after the session. I highly recommend Amanda's excellent cranio work!

Pediatric OT Family, 3+ years, multiple clients

We have been working with Amanda for several years now and she has made a significant difference for our family life. She has worked with multiple of our children on different areas and it has increased our family's quality of life and quality of interaction. She has developed systems, collaborated with our schools and other care providers, and supported our children in developing skill sets that have served them both at home and out in the community. We find that the combination of parental support, direct sessions with our kids and supporting the integration of care across our other therapists and doctors in our home environment is the missing piece that we have finally figured out. We highly recommend working with Amanda!

I am profoundly grateful for the transformative support provided by Amanda in helping my 6-year-old daughter overcome Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). As a single working mom, navigating the challenges of ensuring my child's nutritional well-being became a daunting task until Amanda entered our lives. Her expertise and compassionate approach immediately set us at ease, creating a nurturing environment for my daughter's therapeutic meals. Through dedicated and personalized sessions twice a week, Amanda not only helped my daughter build the foundational skills necessary for a healthy relationship with food but also empowered me with valuable insights and strategies to continue supporting her progress at home.
Amanda's unwavering commitment to my daughter's well-being, coupled with her in-depth knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, has been nothing short of remarkable. She went above and beyond, tailoring each session to my daughter's specific needs and gradually expanding her dietary preferences. As a result of Amanda's guidance, my daughter has made tremendous strides in her eating habits, transforming our daily lives for the better. I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda to any parent facing similar challenges – her expertise, empathy, and dedication have been a beacon of hope and healing for our family.

I’m so glad I met Amanda! I found her practice as I was on a long health journey to recover from illness. The moment she started working on me, she was immediately in tune with my body and where to focus on without me telling her. The work was both calming and powerful and she was always communicative about what she was doing. I left feeling lighter, more balanced, and noticeably better every time. It’s rare to find a practitioner who combines technical expertise with such genuine care and intuition.

"Amanda is incredible! She has such broad and deep knowledge and expertise, and is always seeking new trainings to advance her skillset. And, to top it all off, the fact that Amanda comes to our house is a lifesaver for our busy household"

"Amanda has worked with our 4 year old son on his handwriting and his pencil grip using her Handwriting Without Tears training. When we felt he had made enough progress that we terminated these sessions, our son was very disappointed and creatively tried to negotiate to have more sessions with Amanda. I have no idea how Amanda made handwriting fun, and for a 4 year old! Again, she is so incredibly broad and skilled, kind, and fun. I can’t recommend her highly enough!"
