Ways to Access Services

Child at Psychologist

In-Home Therapy

In-home therapy sessions to address the goals and areas of need set by you and your provider. These can be related to any of the areas in the pediatric therapy and specialty areas sections, including the bodywork and craniosacral sessions, or something completely different- depending on your child/families specific needs. This can include evaluation, re-evaluation & family training/education as well as additional caregiver training.

Clinic Based Sessions

Sessions for occupational therapy services such as sensory integration, executive functioning skills, visual motor & fine motor skills and regulation based in a clinic in Oakland.

Additionally, bodywork sessions such as Bodywork for Sensory Integration, Bodywork for babies and Craniosacral therapy for the child and/or whole family. As an integrative and holistic occupational therapist, I believe in supporting the entire system, and having a caregiver and/or siblings also receive treatment only strengthens & nourishes the roots of the family tree so that it can thrive as a whole.

School/Daycare Visits

The practitioner will support your child in their other environments, whether directly within the setting, observing them from a distance, or training/collaborating with the school/daycare staff. This can be incredibly supportive and provide a cohesive set of supports and interventions across your child's primary environments, reinforcing and generalizing the skills & approaches.

Consult & Interdisciplinary Collaboration

For those families who want consultation & support to set up systems at home outside of direct intervention sessions.  This can look like setting up a sensory space, discussing routines, parent coaching, implementing systems within the home, environmental adaption and/or modification and tools/equipment for the home.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration between your care team can make a significant difference, especially when integrated within the home in a cohesive approach. This can include but is not limited to: developmental pediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists, teachers, speech & language pathologists and physical therapists.  This has proven to be a successful integrative model reducing burden on the child and transferring knowledge and approaches across settings.
